Football Recap: Millard West Takes a Loss

After flying high against Omaha Northwest last Friday, Millard West came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Lincoln North Star Navigators on Friday, falling 35-10. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Navigators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Gus Dahlhauser threw for 105 yards on seven of 14 attempts. Colton Williams was his top target, picking up 81 receiving yards. On the ground, Logan Kracht rushed for 27 yards and one TD.

With the loss, Millard West broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-4. As for Lincoln North Star, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.
