Football Recap: Santa Rosa Academy Finds Home Field Redemption Against Kearny

There's no place like home for Santa Rosa Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 24-14 victory over the Kearny Komets on Thursday. The Rangers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Komets, too.

Jacob Goode went supernova, rushing for 123 yards and three scores. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passing yards (68).

Goode was just one part of a punishing run game: Santa Rosa Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 252 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kearny only rushed for 144 rushing yards.
