Allatoona extended their postseason success on Wednesday against North Oconee. They skirted past the Titans 5-3. The Buccaneers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 24 straight.

Cooper Slayton and Cruz Paul made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Slayton pitched 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Paul didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. At bat, Slayton went 3-for-6 with two RBI, while Paul went 2-for-5 with two RBI and one double.

In other pitching news, Allatoona got a great performance from Davis Bargeron as he tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Jack Reynolds, who went 1-for-5 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Anthony Planeta was another, going 2-for-6 with two runs and one double.

Allatoona's victory bumped their record up to 32-3. As for North Oconee, they moved to 29-7 with that loss, which also ended their ten-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Allatoona beat the Titans by a score of 5-1 later that day.
