Football Recap: Lakeland Preparatory Skates Past Craigmont with Ease

Lakeland Preparatory was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Craigmont on Friday. The Lions took their contest with ease, bagging a 40-6 victory over the Chiefs.

Lakeland Preparatory's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brett Godwin, who threw for 303 yards and five touchdowns. Colten Kirby helped Godwin out on the ground, rushing for 163 yards and one score.

Lakeland Preparatory's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Craigmont, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
