Basketball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Duanesburg

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville, Duanesburg was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They secured a 44-40 W over the Watervliet Cannoneers.

Duanesburg pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Watervliet, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Duanesburg will head out to challenge Berne-Knox-Westerlo at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Watervliet, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hoosick Falls at 3:30 p.m. on December 30th.
