Baseball Recap: North Iowa Takes a Loss

North Iowa lost against West Hancock on June 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bison fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-5.

North Iowa's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.67 runs. As for West Hancock, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Looking ahead, North Iowa will square off against Bishop Garrigan at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bison surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Hancock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Belmond-Klemme at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
