Soccer Recap: Streator/Woodland Comes Up Short

Streator/Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Washington Panthers. While losing is never fun, Streator/Woodland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 344th, while Washington are ranked 109th).

Streator/Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Washington, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4-1.

Streator/Woodland has already played their next game, a 0-0 win against Manteno on the 24th. As for Washington, they will welcome Dunlap at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dunlap will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Washington surely won't give up without a fight.
