Basketball Recap: Socorro Warriors vs. Silver Fighting Colts
Socorro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Silver Fighting Colts and fell 76-36. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 56-27 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Loss or not, Socorro got some senior leadership from Jazmine Alvarado and Ariana Crespin. Alvarado posted 16 points, while Crespin scored 15 points. Those 15 points gave Crespin a new career-high.

Socorro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-33 victory against Bosque on the 1st. Silver has also already played their next contest, a 47-44 win against Pima on the 1st.
