Volleyball Recap: Meadowbrook Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Meadowbrook Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of First Coast Christian on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aucilla Christian Warriors on Thursday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Despite the loss, Meadowbrook Academy still got an impressive performance from IVA FEARON, who had 38 assists and 11 digs. FEARON is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

Aucilla Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophie Ashworth, who had 20 digs and two assists. Those 20 digs gave Ashworth a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Molly McNeill, who had 23 assists and three digs.

Meadowbrook Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Aucilla Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-9.

As of now, neither Meadowbrook Academy nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
