Softball Recap: Jackson County Takes a Loss

Jackson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to the Macon County Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Blue Devils couldn't push the score so high this time.

Makynzee Schneider was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Jackson County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Macon County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson County will square off against Smith County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
