Basketball Recap: Newbury Park Adventist Find Success

Newbury Park Adventist's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They escaped with a win against the Rim of the World Fighting Scots by the margin of a single free throw, 33-32. The 33-point effort marked the Gators' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Newbury Park Adventist's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Rim of the World, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Newbury Park Adventist will face off against Redlands Adventist Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rim of the World, they will take on Redlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
