Preview: Freedom vs. Spoto
Spoto will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Freedom at 7:30 PM. Spoto have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
Spoto didn't have too many spare points in their match with Lennard last week, but they still walked away with a 20-15 victory. Senior Kobe Smith, who rushed for 215 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Spoto's success.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Freedom wasn't quite Riverview's equal in the second half when they met. Freedom took a 0-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Riverview.
Spoto's win lifted them to 2-0 while Freedom's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Spoto can add another positive mark to their record or if Freedom can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Spoto's step.
