Volleyball Recap: Holdrege Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Minden

Holdrege faced Minden in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Dusters were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Whippets. Winning may never get old, but the Dusters sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Carson Sundquist paced Holdrege's offense, picking up 15 kills. Sundquist got some help from Addy Stutzman and her 31 assists. Gracie Johnson and Ellie Pelster kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

When it comes to explaining why Minden lost, don't look at Player #1. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and two assists.

Holdrege's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Minden, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 22-8.
