They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Branchville Yellow Jackets 43-41. For the Flashes, this counts as revenge for the 43-42 victory the Yellow Jackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2021.

Johnsonville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Larkin Powell led the charge by throwing for 105 yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Jay Mcfadden helped Powell out on the ground, rushing for 57 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.
