Soccer Recap: Boone Takes a Loss

Boone and Timber Creek squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Boone had to settle for second. They came up short against the Timber Creek Wolves, falling 3-0. The Braves haven't had much luck with Wolves recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Boone's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Timber Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-0-3 record this season.

Boone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Timber Creek, they will challenge Winter Park at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Winter Park will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Timber Creek surely won't give up without a fight.
