Basketball Recap: Glencoe Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Glencoe suffered their closest loss since January 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Piedmont Bulldogs by a score of 73-71. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Yellowjackets of the 72-52 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2022.

Glencoe's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5. As for Piedmont, their record now sits at 9-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glencoe will host Ohatchee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Piedmont, they will welcome Anniston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
