Soccer Recap: Blue Ridge Comes Up Short

Blue Ridge was the 4-0 winner over Pickens when they last played one another back in February of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. Blue Ridge lost 6-1 to Pickens on Tuesday. Blue Ridge were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Ella Vanzant, who's now up to four this season.

Blue Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Pickens, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Blue Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Broome on the 13th. As for Pickens, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Berea on the 13th.
