Baseball Recap: Bishop Dunne Takes a Loss

Bishop Dunne fell victim to Southwest Christian School and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 10-0 to the Southwest Christian School Eagles. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop Dunne's loss dropped their record down to 4-11-1. As for Southwest Christian School, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Bishop Dunne will square off against Bethesda Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Bethesda Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season. As for Southwest Christian School, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Southwest Christian School Eagles face off against Cistercian Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in their favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Cistercian has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
