Soccer Recap: Madison's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

After flying high against Trinity Christian Academy last Monday, Madison came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell just short of the Crockett County Cavaliers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Madison couldn't quite close it out.

Having lost for the first time this season, Madison fell to 6-1. As for Crockett County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will host Westview at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crockett County, they will face off against South Gibson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Gibson will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Crockett County surely won't give up without a fight.
