Football Game Preview: Newcastle Dogies vs. Tongue River Eagles + How To Watch

The Newcastle Dogies will head out on the road to face off against the Tongue River Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Newcastle is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Big Horn on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Dogies took a blow against the Rams, falling 60-22. The Dogies have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Tongue River scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 26-13 to Moorcroft.

Newcastle now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Tongue River, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Newcastle took their win against Tongue River in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 34-12 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dogies since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
