Softball Recap: Holyoke Takes a Loss

Holyoke lost against Central back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Purple Knights came up short against the Golden Eagles, falling 16-4. The Purple Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jade Maldonado was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Holyoke's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Central, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Holyoke will challenge rival Palmer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Central is set to take on their familiar foe Sabis International at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
