Baseball Recap: North Buncombe Takes a Loss

North Buncombe came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the T.C. Roberson Rams, falling 19-1. The Black Hawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Rams from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

North Buncombe saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grey Reedy, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

North Buncombe has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season. As for T.C. Roberson, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, North Buncombe will challenge North Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. T.C. Roberson will be paying especially close attention to the Black Hawks' match: after the Black Hawks faces off against the Knights, they'll take on T.C. Roberson again at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
