Baseball Game Preview: Annapolis Area Christian Eagles vs. St. Mary's Saints

Annapolis Area Christian is 0-5 against St. Mary since April of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Eagles will host the Saints at 4:15 p.m.

Last Wednesday, Annapolis Area Christian came up short against St. Paul's and fell 8-5.

Andrew Hammond was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Jacob Cresanto was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's had just enough and edged out Indian Creek 4-3 last Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Saints have won by just one run.

St. Mary's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Annapolis Area Christian, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
