Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Titans vs. South Heart Eagles

The Trinity Titans will challenge the South Heart Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Heart took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Trinity, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Trinity turned things around against Stanley on Saturday. They breezed by the Blue Jays to the tune of 67-34. The Titans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, South Heart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 74-45 loss at the hands of Killdeer. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Cowboys are ranked 13th).

Trinity's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for South Heart, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Trinity against South Heart in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 62-27 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trinity since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
