Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Holmen

Holmen waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Seymour Thunder by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Their offense was headlined by Peyton Schneider and Moira Linse, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Claire Stevenson and her eight assists. Brenna Schmidt controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Holmen's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Seymour, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Holmen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against D.C. Everest on the 29th. Seymour has also already played their next match (against Notre Dame Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
