Soccer Game Preview: Whitman-Hanson Regional vs. Hingham

Whitman-Hanson Regional is 0-9-1 against Hingham since September of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Harbormen at 6:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Whitman-Hanson Regional came up short against Pembroke and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Whitman-Hanson Regional can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Pembroke are ranked 44th).

Meanwhile, Hingham hasn't lost a match since September 11th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Scituate 2-1. Hingham haven't had any issues with Scituate recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Whitman-Hanson Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Hingham, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.
