Volleyball Recap: Stephenson Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Stephenson can now relate to. They came up short against the LaFayette Ramblers on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead LaFayette to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sophy Tinklepaugh, who had four digs and two aces. That's the most aces Tinklepaugh has posted over her last four contests.

Stephenson's defeat dropped their record down to 25-7. As for LaFayette, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-10 record this season.

Stephenson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for LaFayette, they will take on Academy of Richmond County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
