Milton-Union is a perfect 5-0 against Bethel since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will take on the Bees at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Milton-Union fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Covington on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Buccs by a score of 6-5.

Meanwhile, Bethel started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Covington. They lost 14-2 to the Buccs last Thursday. The Bees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Allie Sheen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Annabelle Adams, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Milton-Union's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Bethel, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Everything went Milton-Union's way against Bethel when the teams last played back in April, as Milton-Union made off with a 10-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
