Basketball Game Preview: Natoma Tigers vs. Pike Valley Panthers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers challenge the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Natoma is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Natoma played against Rock Hills on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

Pike Valley is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Osborne on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Pike Valley came up short against Osborne, falling 56-33. The Panthers have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Breanna Reeves was Pike Valley's leading scorer, having posted 17 points. Alexis Martin held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.

Natoma's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Pike Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Natoma took a serious blow against Pike Valley in their previous matchup last Tuesday, falling 55-22. Can Natoma avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
