Soccer Game Preview: St. Helena vs. Kelseyville

The St. Helena Saints will head out on the road to square off against the Kelseyville Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

St. Helena is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They fell 2-0 to Bethel. Considering the last time the Saints couldn't score was back in December of 2024, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Kelseyville came up short against Roseland University Prep on Saturday, falling 9-1. The Knights have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

St. Helena's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Kelseyville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13-3.

St. Helena was able to grind out a solid victory over Kelseyville when the teams last played on January 9th, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Helena since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
