Liberty Union had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Logan Elm Braves a 1-0 shutout. The one-run effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Liberty Union's victory was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Logan Elm, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-6 record this season.

Liberty Union will welcome Licking Heights at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. Logan Elm does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
