Softball Recap: Eagan Takes a Loss

Eagan was the 5-1 winner over Lakeville North when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats fell 9-6 to the Panthers on Thursday.

Sienna Sireno made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That stolen base was her first of the season. Jocelyn McClary was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Eagan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Lakeville North, their record now sits at 4-5.

Coincidentally, Eagan and Lakeville North will both be playing Eastview the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Lightning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
