Volleyball Recap: Herscher's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Herscher won the last time they faced Clifton Central and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Comets by a score of 2-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While Herscher won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-19.

With the victory, Herscher broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-16. As for Clifton Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Herscher didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Manteno on the 30th. As for Clifton Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Grant Park on the 30th.
