Basketball Recap: All Saints' Academy Comes Up Short

All Saints' Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Frostproof Bulldogs and fell 39-2. The Saints were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 22-2.

Frostproof's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sha'Derricka Sloan led the charge by putting up ten points. Another player making a difference was Danica Loaiza, who posted ten points.

All Saints' Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Frostproof, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. All Saints' Academy will take on Cristo Rey Tampa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Frostproof, they will challenge Northeast at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
