Soccer Game Preview: Langham Creek vs. Waller

The Langham Creek Lobos will venture away from home to challenge the Waller Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Waller will have to contend with a Langham Creek team hungry for a win, something the squad hasn't seen since January 31. Langham Creek fell just short of Cypress Park by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Waller was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Bridgeland. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly eight goals.

Waller's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Langham Creek, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Everything went Langham Creek's way against Waller when the teams last played back in January, as Langham Creek made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Langham Creek since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
