Basketball Recap: Arroyo Comes Up Short

Arroyo suffered their closest loss since December 4, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Gabrielino Eagles by a score of 38-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-34 back in December of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Arroyo and nudges their season record down to 6-9. As for Gabrielino, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-11.

Arroyo will take on El Monte at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Gabrielino has already played their next match (against Marshall), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
