Baseball Recap: Vassar Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Vassar's offense. They came up short against the Caro Tigers on Thursday, falling 18-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Vulcans in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

Vassar's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Caro, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

While Vassar had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
