Basketball Recap: Poth Comes Up Short

Poth and Hallettsville squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Poth had to settle for second. They took a 41-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hallettsville Brahmas. The Pirates were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Brahmas earlier this season, when they won 44-32.

Poth's loss dropped their record down to 24-9. As for Hallettsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a massive bump to their 15-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Poth nor Hallettsville have any future games scheduled.
