Basketball Game Preview: Bloomington Central Catholic Saints vs. St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans

The Bloomington Central Catholic Saints will head out on the road to square off against the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Bloomington Central Catholic sitting on three straight wins and St. Joseph-Ogden on nine.

On Tuesday, Bloomington Central Catholic earned a 59-52 victory over Paxton-Buckley-Loda.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph-Ogden made easy work of St. Teresa on Tuesday and carried off a 70-45 win. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 25 points or more this season.

St. Joseph-Ogden has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points per game. As for Bloomington Central Catholic, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-11.
