Riverside unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Freeman Scotties on Tuesday, falling 23-5. The Rams' defeat signaled the end of their undefeated season.

The victory made it two in a row for Freeman and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will square off against Newport at 4:00 p.m. on March 27th. As for Freeman, they will head out on the road to take on Medical Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Medical Lake's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
