Illiana Christian waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Wheeler Bearcats with a sharp 8-1 victory. Considering Illiana Christian have won four contests by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Wheeler from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Matt Davids led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Illiana Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-2-1. As for Wheeler, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Illiana Christian will face off against Andrean at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wheeler, they will challenge Washington Township at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
