Soccer Recap: Pinnacle Classical Academy Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

While Pinnacle Classical Academy's victory against Lake Lure Classical Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles never let the Raptors get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. Pinnacle Classical Academy's winning goal came courtesy of Lucas Donovan.

The victory made it two in a row for Pinnacle Classical Academy and bumps their season record up to 12-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Lake Lure Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Coming up, Pinnacle Classical Academy will take on Christian Family Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Christian Family Academy's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Lake Lure Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
