New Hope was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victor by an 8-3 margin over the Etowah Blue Devils. Jamari Cooper was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

The win made it two in a row for New Hope and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

New Hope has already played their next matchup, a 4-2 victory against Danville on the 18th. As for Etowah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against St. Clair County on the 20th.
