It was a good run, but Bayou Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the St. Joseph Catholic Bruins, falling 56-34. The matchup marked the Colts' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bayou Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for St. Joseph Catholic, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Looking ahead, Bayou Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Delta Streets Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Joseph Catholic will take on Simpson Academy in a holiday battle at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
