The Lead Hill Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They suffered a tough 74-49 defeat at the hands of Omaha. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lead Hill in their matchups with Omaha: they've now lost six in a row.
Lead Hill's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nicklas May, who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds. Cedomir Petrovic was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 4 blocks.
Lead Hill has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Omaha, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kingston the next time they take the court. Lead Hill will host Kingston at 5:50 p.m. on Friday, while Omaha will host them at 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday.
