Basketball Recap: Kingston Beats Peck for Their Fourth Straight Win

Kingston extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Austin DeRoseau. The Kingston Cardinals strolled past the Peck Pirates with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 56-41 thanks in part to DeRoseau, who went 13-for-21 en route to 29 points and eight boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played.

Peyton Harrington was another key player, putting up six points along with eight rebounds and five assists. What's more, he also posted four blocks, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

Despite the loss, Peck still got an impressive performance from Thomas West, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Aiden Alfaro, who scored eight points.

Kingston's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. As for Peck, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kingston will take on Deckerville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Peck, they will square off against All Saints Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. All Saints Central will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Peck surely won't give up without a fight.
