Softball Recap: Clarkton Comes Up Short

Clarkton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the South Pemiscot Bulldogs, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in April.

Clarkton's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for South Pemiscot, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Clarkton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. South Pemiscot has already played their next matchup (against Caruthersville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
