Basketball Recap: East Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

The third road match was the charm for East, as they earned their first road win of the season. They snuck past the Western New York Maritime Charter Commodores with a 57-51 win on Friday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 66-58 victory the Commodores walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

East's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Antoine Williams, who posted 28 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Williams is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Dallas Hernandez, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 boards.
