Basketball Recap: Melvindale Takes a Loss

Melvindale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Edsel Ford Thunderbirds and fell 79-3. The game marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Melvindale's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Edsel Ford, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Melvindale will host Romulus at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Romulus will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Melvindale surely won't give up without a fight. As for Edsel Ford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Anderson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
