Recap: Appling County Pirates vs. Tattnall County Warriors
The Appling County Pirates lost against the Tattnall County Warriors back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Appling County fell 60-49 to Tattnall County. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Appling County in their matchups with Tattnall County: they've now lost six in a row.
Several Pirates players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lj Nance, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dj Solomon, who scored 14 points.
Appling County's loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Tattnall County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Appling County will take on Brantley County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tattnall County, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Pierce County at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
